Nomination for a
Walker County First

In an effort to capture the unique, historic, bizarre, fun and frivolous "Firsts" that we all claim for our hometown or community, the Walker Area Community Foundation is challenging our friends to submit their favorites to us for eventual compilation in a review of the Walker Area Firsts.

Please take a few minutes to meditate on the stories and facts you have heard over the years about your town, your ancestors, your county, and capture the heart of the idea on this form. If you can add a specific location and a digital image - so much the better.

Who knows.there may even be a prize at the end of the project for the best submissions???
