Project Community

Picture
Not many of us these days need a new project in our lives. Being a young adult in 2015 means more than a 9 to 5 job Monday through Friday. We are at maximum capacity with our jobs, families, church responsibilities and sporting events. Between meetings and little league there is not much time left to find new friends, much less socialize with old ones.

Researching, studying nonprofits and where we should give our money is a great idea but one that takes time we just don’t have. With so many wonderful organizations doing great work in our community, it becomes hard to decide which is the most deserving of our hard-earned dollars.

Do we have all of the answers? No, but we can offer you the Project Community experience.

Project Community is for young adults desiring to make an impact in their community.  Members of Project Community meet at least four times a year to:

  • Socialize and meet people of like age in the community;
  • Learn about philanthropy and giving;
  • Learn about the nonprofits we have in our community

We hope you will join us for our next Project Community event.
